Stephan Gerhard is a postdoc in the Friedrich group at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research in Basel. His research interests include neural circuits, image analysis, machine learning and the neurobiology of states of consciousness. He currently works on semi-automated neural circuit reconstruction methods to analyze large-scale volumetric electron microscopy datasets of zebrafish brains.
